It’s finally September which also means summer is officially over and Fall / Autumn has begun (with winter soon approaching)! Earlier this year Pantone released the Fashion Color Report for Fall 2017 Color Trends, which shows the TOP 10 colors used by designers for the season.
As you can see there are many typical “autumn-y” shades here such as Autumn Maple – the rusty orange color the leaves turn during this season, and the low-key dark winter shades such as Neutral Grey, Navy Peony, Tawny Port. The color that stood out the most to me was Grenadine because it’s much more strong and brighter than the other colors, however it’s perfect for the festive season!
My favorite color in this chart would be Ballet Slipper. This baby pink is the color I love wearing during the winter months as it makes me feel super cute without being too overpowering. Let me know what your favorite color is in the comments!
Anyways, since it’s now the time for these colors to come through in our clothing I decided to create some style inspo! 😉 Below are some outfits I have assembled according to the color trends. Enjoy! X
An elegant, feminine and sexy red carpet or special event night look
A glamorous look for a super stylish girl who’s highly in touch with her feminine side and likes to be a little bit EXTRA! (not implying that pink is only for girls)
Super smart-casual. This street style look is a definite show stopper!
A cute, artsy look for any girl who is looking to stand out from the crowd with her creativity and uniqueness.
The good old classic date night look. Elegant, feminine and classy.
A simple but cute look for when it’s a bit chilly outside and you’re having a day indoors.
An extremely classy, refined and simple yet flashy look – perfect for fancy dinners or exclusive events. Chanel belt added for extra glam 😉
This look is very casual but fashionable at the same time! Great for a sunny fall day out. You could go about just anywhere in this outfit and it’d fit right in – the park, the mall, a market, etc.
A boujee high-glam red carpet look.
For an exotic adventure loving gal.
